Hawai’i’s Largest Recycler

Up to 3,000 tons of C&D waste enter the PVT facility every day. About 80 percent is recycled or reused. PVT plays an essential role in Oahu’s construction industry by providing safe waste disposal services for construction projects all over the island. Construction in Hawaii is an $8 billion industry that accounts for about 36,000 jobs and contributes about $4 billion annually to the state’s GDP. If there were no place to dispose of C&D waste, construction projects would be unable to move forward.
